So I've been neglecting this thing again lately, sorry guys since I know you all LOVE to hear about my life XD.

Since my last journal...

Life's going great being out of school! Although it hasnt been much of a summer here in Milwaukee, kinda cold :/ thats ok AC is expensive! Lexi and I have finally really settled into our new place, we bought a table, and a grill! So summer cook outs have been fun with and and our other Milwaukee friends.

Today was an exciting day however because Public Enemies finally was released in theaters! It seems like forever ago that I sat in the smokey little courtroom in Darlington WI last spring. Anyway it was really cool to see the movie today and see all the familiar locations around WI including the two cities I've lived in Madison and Milwaukee. And the most exciting part was that my scene made the final cut! It's hard to gauge the importance of a scene while you're filming it and not knowing how it will really fit in with the rest of the story. It ended up being fairly important to the plot so that was good. VERY different seeing it from the camera's point of view though. You can only see me in it for a split second but I am in it! My cousin and I were the only ones out of my huge group of family and friends that went to it tonight that actually saw me If anyone can tell me what scene I'm in in the movie I'll give them a free bracer XD. I really dont think you'll see me.

Other than that MTV finally called me last week about my application for True Life I'm a Fanboy and unfortunately they said that they are no longer in production for that episode. Hopefully they will come back to it and maybe give me another call, but what they did call about was hoping they could use me in another True Life show about relationships where one person is into something and the other is not. They were looking for someone who was into cosplay with a partner who was not. So unfortunately that wouldnt really work out for me since Lexi is an avid cosplayer too. But I'm glad that they took enough interest in my application to think of me...so maaaaybe if they do another nerdy show they'll sign me up ^_^

On the cosplay front I've started work again on my secret costume and I hope to get it finished for Otakon, I've made good progress and it's definitely doable its just that I've been working like a pack mule so not much time for anything else T_T.

After that's finished its straight to work on Prince of Persia. I plan on making this my best costume yet and also I'll hopefully have some fairly decent muscles to go with it if I ever find time to work out. So this will be something I want to have for Youmacon, which gives me time to work out and also do the EXTENSIVE detailing on the coat and leather belts.
