ACR hood progress

Description

So here's what I have for the ACR hood so far. I'm extremely happy with the fit and the satin stitching. I am not so fond of the embroidery yet. This is my first attempt at embroidery ever and so far it's proving to be quite the challenge I already ripped out half of it. Any tips or critiques are welcome, thanks.

Like S.Lionheart said before, it is a great start. This particular hood desperts some interest on me, since the hoods of the Assassins are great challenges for cosplayers.

I should recommend that you test the embroidery in scraps, for example, before moving on to the definite hood. This will help to make it "cleaner" in a way, and you can find the setting that suits you better. Also you may not have to tear your hood apart again <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> It may be annoying, but it's worth it in the end.

I'm not too experient with fabrics, but i should say that a light fabric will help it keep the "Flaps" on its side and still be able to hold the beak upright.
All in all, the project is coming out neatly, and i'm very eager to see the end result.
