Nikolai Orelov Coat Pattern

This pattern is for Nikolai Orelov who is the Russian Assassin from the comic series "The Fall" The pattern was taken from a mens suit coat pattern and modified to be longer for the coat. This costume when finished will be a professionally tailored mens coat that just happens to be an assassin coat ;D

This is basically how I draft and put together patterns. I use this brown paper which is more sturdy then the tissue like paper you see in commercial patterns. I get a lot of inquiries about patterns for my costumes so I've decided to post some pictures of them for people who arent interested in purchasing a copy to have on hand. At least in these pictures you can get an idea about the basic shapes of clothing.
