Hey now, this is awesome! No one ever does good ol' NES Link costumes. It's a crying shame because they're the original, you know? The shield looks fantastic, and I love how your sleeves are mottled. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but I really like it when an outfit actually looks lived in. Especially any LoZ costumes- that game is about kicking butt and taking names, not who can keep their clothes the cleanest. At any rate, you did a smashing good job, and props to you good sir!

I do typically go to an extent to make my costumes look lived in. The mottled sleeves however was not intentional this time but I'm glad you like the look of it. I tend to go less crazy with the weathering on Zelda costumes but my style of cosplay always ends up looking more realistic I think even if I try to make it look more cartoony. But thank you :D

No problem! I understand with the less weathering with the Zelda costumes- it's not really one of those things you can go crazy with weathering with, like any of the space-armor kind of deals (Halo, Mass Effect... you get the gist. c: ). It's not really a bad thing to look realistic- it makes it more believable. :D That doesn't mean cartoony is bad though!

yeah I usually try to have a realistic look to my costumes. The Assassin costumes get weathered A LOT
